Architecture at the Edge returns for 2018. This weekend celebration of architecture will feature buildings of architectural merit opening their doors for one weekend, with tours provided by expert guides.
Architecture at the Edge (AATE) is not-for-profit organisation established in 2017 to promote an appreciation of West of Ireland architecture. Curated by a local voluntary committee, Architecture at the Edge has emerged from what was previously known as ‘Open House Galway’.
The organisers are calling out to building owners in Galway, Mayo and Clare to open their buildings to the public over the weekend of 20th, 21st October 2018 as a core part of the festival programme.
Regular building tour opening times can range from 1.5 – 6 hours.
