Architecture, Art & Space: A Conversation

Space architect, Dr Barbara Imhof in conversation with NASA astronaut and artist Nicole Stott, and Dr. Niamh Shaw, Artist in Residence, Blackrock Castle Observatory.

Dr. Barbara Imhof is a space architect, she teaches at the International Space University, and co-founded LIQUIFER Systems Group (LSG) in 2003, which develops detailed designs for human activity in space.

Nicole Stott is an artist and an astronaut, a veteran of 2 spaceflights and 104 days living and working in space on both the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station (ISS).

Dr Niamh Shaw’s creative work merges performance, engineering, science, art, and technology. She is particularly interested in articulating the human stories behind science.
