Architecture at the Edge 2017: Building Tours – Expression of Interest

Architecture at the Edge is the latest addition to the Galway festival calendar.  This weekend celebration of architecture will feature a series of talks, tours, workshops and exhibitions. Showcasing some of Galway’s most outstanding architectural features, buildings of architectural merit will open their doors for one weekend, with tours provided by expert guides.

The organisers are calling out to building owners in Galway and surrounding counties to open their buildings to the public over the weekend of 29th, 30th September and 1st October as a core part of the festival programme. Regular building tour opening times can range from 1.5 – 6 hours.  Building visits forming part of the bus, walking or cycle tour itineraries are usually half an hour in duration.
