Capstones Shift: RIAI & IAA 1916 Centenary Lecture Series

To mark the Centenary of 1916, the Irish Architectural Archive (IAA), the RIAI and its journal Architecture Ireland are collaborating in a joint programme of lectures and articles entitled ‘Capstones Shift: Architectural Legacies of the Easter Rising’.The fifth lecture on this series is ‘The Great Monumental Avenue of the City’: O’Connell Street and Town Planning, 1911 – 1916 by Dr Brian Ward at the Irish Architectural Archive (IAA). Dr Ward is a lecturer in Architecture & Urban Design in DIT.
