The Irish Architecture Foundation, in partnership with The Glucksman Gallery and the National Sculpture Factory, is hosting a one-day symposium on Curating Architecture. Taking place on Saturday 6th April the event will start off in the Glucksman and the day’s proceedings will conclude at the National Sculpture Factory.
Over the course of the day, a range of national and international speakers will discuss, explore, and imagine the potential of staging architecture in an exhibition setting. Confirmed speakers include Pedro Gadanho, Manuel Henriques, Catherine Ince, Kieran Long, Léa-Catherine Szacka and Emmett Scanlon, with Veronika Valk-Siska as the keynote lecture.
Tickets for the symposium will also allow delegates the opportunity to attend a public conversation at 5pm on Friday 5 April at the Glucksman Gallery between Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara of Grafton Architects and Professor Hugh Campbell, UCD, that marks the launch of the Close Encounter exhibition.
