Park(ing) Day is returning to the streets of Dublin after a break in 2015. Organisers are seeking expressions of interest and for the word to spread. Make your city a better place.
Park(ing) Day was started by Rebar in 2005 in San Francisco. Their aim was to turn car parking spaces into public parks, games or art installations for one day every year in September. Park(ing) Day is ‘intended to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generosity and play.’ – Rebar
PARK(ing) Day 2016 is on Friday 16 September. Just for one day get your message onto the street.
