Dublin PARK(ing) Day Call Out 2017

unnamed

What? Dublin PARK(ing) Day is a place-making initiative that calls on Artists, Designers, Public Awareness Campaigners, Businesses and Citizens to help make the city brighter for one day. This is a chance for anyone to take their ideas to the streets on Friday 15th September, by creating a small park in an under-used space.

Why? The importance of good quality, livable streets is gaining attention in cities worldwide, and is important for our well-being and future success. With major works like LUAS cross city and the College Green plaza taking place, big changes are coming to Dublin. The quality that these changes will take is too important to ignore.

How? On 15th September you can take a parking space and turn it into a park for the day. Make it a space for playing, sitting, relaxing, performing; something different. Take this opportunity to have your say and show that our city can be better. More info and ideas from past events at:www.dublinparkingday.org. In association with Dublin City Council.
