ECI Lighting opens new architectural and design showroom

ECI Lighting, the oldest lighting company in Ireland has opened a new architectural and design showroom in North Park, Dublin. The construction comes just months after the company launched a €25M energy efficiency fund to help Irish SME’s upgrade their lighting to LED technology at no upfront capital cost.

The showroom will promote some of the most exclusive IoT lighting products available globally and the new offices will also house the company’s in-house architectural design team. Speaking at the opening event, Mr. Declan Hanratty, MD of ECI Lighting said: “it is a really exciting time for ECI as a business, we are hiring more talented people every month, growing our Prelux brand here and abroad and this facility will be a fantastic resource for Irish architects, consulting engineers, wholesale partners, planners and lighting designers to come and view our industry leading LED technology.”

Officially opening the new offices and showrooms, Minister Damien English T.D. said: “I am delighted to be here to recognise your company’s achievements over almost sixty years, as well as the significant new investment in your Lighting as a Service business which will result in more jobs for our economy … we look forward to helping ECI with your ambitious international growth plans, with the assistance of Enterprise Ireland and wish your entire team the very best in the coming years”.
