Architecture Ireland is the official journal of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland. Its objective is to be a forum for excellence in architectural practice, featuring the work of RIAI Registered architects in Ireland and abroad. Alongside in-depth building features, the magazine covers a wide range of topics relating to the practice and experience of architecture.  The magazine has featured interviews with many leading figures including Daniel Libeskind, Kevin Roche, Glenn Murcutt, Juhani Pallasmaa, David Chipperfield and Lord David Puttnam

Published six times per annum by Nova Publishing, Architecture Ireland is Ireland’s premier architectural magazine and an award-winning publication. In 2010 the magazine won a prestigious design award from the Institute of Designers in Ireland.

Architecture Ireland is edited by Dr Sandra O’Connell since 2002. Sandra writes regularly on architecture, contributes to conferences and has recently edited the RIAI’s new Annual Review, Irish Architecture, Vol. 1. Editorial standards are also overseen by a long-standing Editorial Board, which is composed of practising architects and representatives of the RIAI including the current RIAI President.  Architecture Ireland operates an ongoing open call for submissions, which are reviewed by the editorial board, and features the best of Irish architecture at home and abroad from the RIAI’s Annual Architecture Awards.

Architecture Ireland has a targeted readership and is sent by name to all RIAI Registered Architects in Ireland. In addition, the journal is read by a wide range of built environment professionals as well as decision makers in government departments and local authorities.
