Talk: Why should Georgian Limerick be regenerated?

The Limerick Chapter of the Irish Georgian Society present the last talk of the Spring Series 2016. These current series has been in response to recent proposals to revitalise Limerick city such as the Living City scheme, Limerick 2030 Economic and Spatial Plan, and the establishment of a dedicated architectural department in the newly amalgamated City and County Council.

Judith Hill is an Architectural Historian and Historic Buildings Consultant. She has recently completed a PhD on Gothic Revival architecture at Trinity College Dublin.  Having lived and worked in Limerick city for many years, the author of The Building of Limerick has a unique insight into Limerick’s built heritage.
