The Irish Architecture Foundation have teamed up with Totally Dublin to bring you Pecha Kucha 2015. At 7pm, Wednesday 22 April the IAF and TD will be descending on The Grand Social with a band of merry speakers. The idea behind Pecha Kucha is its patented system for avoiding long winding presentations. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, shown for just 20 seconds each. Expect talks on equality, biodiversity, cycling cities and community building.
Speakers include Alex Milton (Director of Irish Design 2015), Mathew Jebb (Botanic Gardens), Mickael Viljanen (The Greenhouse), Claire Byrne (Green Party), Broden Giambrone (Trans Equality Network Ireland), Rosie O’Reily (Re-Dress), Anne Bedos (Rothar), Michael Hayes (2ha), Abgc architects, Naoise Nunn (Cat Laughs Comedy Festival), Studio Red architects, Concrete Collar and Colm O’Gorman (Amnesty International). MC-ing on the night is the ever reliable Ciaran O’Gaora.
Tickets are available on the door for just €5.
