Wednesday 22 July, 7-11pm
Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin
The Irish Architecture Foundation and Totally Dublin present the summer edition of Pecha Kucha Dublin. After the success of the Spring event at The Grand Social, the venue has moved to the larger Sugar Club. If you’re unfamiliar with the Pecha Kucha format, here it is in a nutshell: speakers get 20 slides, and 20 seconds to explain each. This is no excuse to talk through the technicalities of their work, but to provoke us into thinking about themes and issues that affect us all.
This time around speakers will be touching on topics like exploration, the outdoors, public space and the environment.
Tickets are €5 and are available at the door (complimentary Peroni included in ticket price).
Seán Harrington (Seán Harrington Architects)
Esther Gerrard (Bloom Fringe)
Manchan Magan (RTE/TG4/The Irish Times)
Gearoid Carvill and Kieran Harnett (Dublin Honey Company)
Anne Bedos (Rothar)
Hollie Kearns and Rosie Lynch (Callan Workhouse Union)
Douglas Carson (Carson and Crushell)
Emmet Condon (Homebeat)
Sam Tranum (Liberties Press)
Master of Ceremonies will be Ciaran O’Gaora (Zero-G Studio).
Pecha Kucha is a not-for-profit event.
