This week Darc Space are opening their Sacred Space exhibition, plus launching an accompanying publication, on Thursday, February 12th 2015 at 6.30pm. All are welcome to attend.
The exhibition is concerned with the contemporary making and unmaking of sacred space in Dublin. Through showcasing the work of communities, architects, photographers and academics, the exhibition and book celebrate the diversity and potential for inter-culturalism of cities in general and of Dublin in particular.
The project includes work by photographer Eugene Langan and architects O’Donnell & Tuomey, McCullough Mulvin and Niall McLaughlin, with essays in the catalogue by academics Dr Melanie Brown and Dr Eoin O’Mahoney, and Ali Grehan (Dublin City Architect) and (Dublin Heritage Officer). The exhibition will run until 1st of May, 2015.
