Shifting Ground – A Lecture by Arcchitect & Curator John McLaughlin

On Wednesday 25th September, architect and curator for Shifting Ground, John McLaughlin will present a talk on this exciting piece by Heneghan Peng Architects, designed for the Venice Architectural Biennial in 2012. John will focus on the concepts behind the work and its context in Venice and he will also talk about the challenges of curating architecture within these international forums. This talk will take place in the mezzanine at the National Sculpture Factory from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. This is free and open to all. Seating is limited so please arrive early to be guaranteed a seat. Prior to this talk we will have a walk through of the work in-action from 6:30pm.

Shifting Ground’ was Ireland’s representation at 2012 Venice Architectural Biennale.
